The ceremony of Christian marriage is both a joyful and sacred occasion during which two people declare before God, their family and their friends their desire to be united by the Church in a new and lasting relationship.

Our Facilities

The policy of St. Mark’s UMC is to use the church facilities and equipment in the best way possible to carry out the mission of the church to be a place of God’s love and welcome. This congregation views as one of its missional obligations making our facilities available for causes in the community that are in keeping with the commission given by Jesus Christ to all his followers, and for personal and family events for our supporting members. We must, however, in most cases, charge fees to recover costs of utilities, custodial and administration. It is understood that this policy relates to events other than the usual, normal program activities of this congregation. Safe Sanctuary

Safe Sanctuary is making congregations safe places where children, youth and elders may experience the abiding love of God and fellowship within the community of faith. Safe Sanctuaries certification is required for anyone who works with children or youth in any capacity or anyone who goes on a sponsored mission trip.
